Job Summary

Are you a dedicated professional seeking an exciting opportunity? At Westwood Post Acute, we are committed to providing personalized rehabilitation, memory care, and nursing services. Join us in helping our residents reach their maximum potential in a caring and supportive environment. Shifts: Part-time & PRN - 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm & 6pm-6am).

Essential Duties

  • Assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Provide RN nursing services in a skilled nursing unit or facility; supervision of nurse assistants, medication passes, and treatments.
  • Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating written policies and procedures.
  • Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director regarding the nursing service department.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
  • Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting.
  • Assist with the overall supervision of and management of the nursing staff.

Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN in CO.
  • Ability to supervise nursing staff.
  • Commitment to providing personalized care.
